Leadership Volunteer Opportunities - Board Positions
The Board meets 10 times per year on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. for approximately 2 hours. Meetings are generally not held in July or August. The Board is a Policy Board, not an Operations Board. Board members are also expected to sit on one of the Board Committees. Committees meet once a quarter. The overall make up of the Board is designed to fit the following criteria: · One-third affected by multiple sclerosis · One-third from the medical/health care profession · One third from the business community. If you are interested in serving on the Chapter Board, please send us a letter outlining your interest and the contributions you believe you can make.
