Be Part of the Cure!

Find out how YOU can be PART OF THE CURE by checking out the following ways to get involved in the annual MS Carnation Campaign:

Public-Sales Sponsor

To be a sponsor, you would provide space, a table and two/three chairs for our volunteers in the main foyer of your business/office building. Our volunteers will arrive at your location with all the other supplies required to sell miniature potted carnations to the public/your employees, while providing information about MS and the MS Society. Corporate Campaign

If you work in the greater Calgary area, you can become a workplace volunteer coordinator! All materials, including posters, sample memos, order forms and media releases are provided. You record the orders and submit the order, with payment, to the MS Society and the potted carnations are delivered to your workplace.

Individual Purchase

If you are currently not affiliated with a business that is involved with the 2007 Carnation Campaign or you would like to get your community or church group and neighbors actively engaged in a great cause, you can still be part of the cure by ordering using our on-line form. Ordering is simple and payment may be made by cheque, American Express, Mastercard and VISA. Complete the form and if paying with credit card, fax the form to (403) 250-8937. If paying by cheque, send order and payment to: 100, 2421 – 37 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6Y7. Please note all orders over $100 will be delivered to your door!

Donations

If you are unable to actively participate in this year’s event, donations to the 2007 MS Carnation Campaign are always welcome!

Other Available Opportunities

Delivery Drivers:

You can be part of the cure by volunteering your time to help deliver our potted mini-carnations around to our public-sales sponsors as well as our pre-sale sites.

Carnation Sorters:

If you enjoy organizing and completing orders, then this job is for you! We need volunteers to assist with the sorting and packing of carnations, preparing orders for delivery.

Public-Sales Volunteers:

If you enjoy mingling with people, increasing public awareness and selling carnations at the public-sales sponsor site, then may I invite you to check out this opportunity! Each site will have teams of 2-3 volunteers and will be provided with all the required supplies.

Public-Sales Captains:

Do you have leadership qualities and enjoy added responsibility, then you will enjoy this opportunity. In addition to performing the same duties as the public-sales volunteer, you will be responsible for picking up the pre-packaged supplies, carnations and float and will be responsible for returning remaining supplies and the sale proceeds to the MS Society.
